Priscilla Hernandez discovered her son had life-threatening food allergies when he was a baby. Through blood and skin testing, doctors found Zacky Muñoz was allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, legumes, sesame, and avocado. Over the years, he’s had several allergic reactions at school and has even gone into anaphylactic shock. As a result, Hernandez and her family are passionate about building food allergy awareness. They helped pass the Zacky Bill in California to protect students with allergies.
